Rua vs Griffin 2

Who else would love to see this match up again, surely Mauricio is improved but, we cannot just assume he's better then Griffin yet because the fact is he did lose his last match against Forrest.

I'd pick Shogun to TKO him pretty damn early.

I think this fight would end early in the second round. Rua gassed really bad in there first fight, I thought he was picking Forrest apart up until that point. I was saying this before the Machida fight, an in shape Shogun is the best lhw in the UFC. I believe that.

Rua was injured, and didn't have a real training camp or basically any preparation for that fight. He's now training with Maia and olympic boxers at a top camp, working his cardio and endurance HARD and improving his already-awesome standup.

Forrest has improved a good amount and looks bigger now too.

Shogun by KO rd 2. ;D

I just don't see that happening. Shogun definitely possesses some heavy power, but his KO's against Liddell and mark coleman aren't too impressive because they are both guys well past their prime. I think if the two fought again, it would go to a close decision for Rua, unless Griffin can improve his gnp Rua would own him on the ground.

yeah I def agree I think every1 is overrating Mauricio just a little bit, Forrest won that fight and he has a good chance again, close call definitely I'd say. So they say Mauricio was injured or recovering last time he fought, obvioulsy he was good enough to fight which is why the doctor cleared him...
