"Brock Lesnar is a UFC fighter. He's under our umbrella and people want to know. If it was up to Brock Lesnar nobody would know. Nobody would even know this happened. This was a [expletive] scary thing for him. He was worried about his future. It's not only his fighting, he's got a family. That's a lot [expletive] scary. He's at 60-percent of his potential? What's going to happen when he comes back? How much faster can you beat people? Hopefully we can get though this." -Dana White
UFC President Dana White talks to Yahoo! Sports about his mercurial heavyweight champions' bout with diverticulitis, a serious intestinal condition.
Lesnar (4-1) began noticeably labouring at camp in preparation for a showdown with undefeated heavyweight contender Shane Carwin. The fight was originally scheduled for this past Saturday's UFC 106. The contest was called off however after Lesnar appeared to have contracted mono. It was then rescheduled for UFC 108 at the promotions annual New Year's Eve show, but was again postponed, this time indefinitely, when it was revealed that Lesnar's condition had worsened and he was forced to spend time in a local Minnesota hospital.
Shortly thereafter, physicians discovered that in addition to mono, Lesnar had also developed diverticulitis in his intestines and that surgery would be required. Staff estimate that the condition had likely existed for over a year and that the brutish heavyweight had been competing at around 60 percent of his potential.
It's beginning to look more and more like the former Division I wrestling champion will make a full recovery. Key members of his camp have stated that Lesnar will be ready to compete again within 6 months, so the question becomes -- if the Lesnar we witnessed decimate the UFC heavyweight division was competing at just 60 percent, how good will he be at full strength?

I highly doubt he was only 60%.

So when Brock is at 100% he will be almost twice as fast, twice as strong, and twice as skilled as he was in his last fight. It doesn't take a doctor to realize that it's bullshit. Maybe he wasn't at 100% but to say he was at 60% is just retarded.

AWESOME!
I found this website that shows me how good brock would be if he really does improve by 40%!!!!! (technically speaking, improving from 60% to 100% is NOT a 40% improvement, as 40 is actually two thirds of 60, Brock would be increasing by 66%!!!!)
