I contacted both Rogers Cable (my cable provider) and the UFC, im pretty sure it will fall on deaf ears. Im not sure who to talk to, i think it would be my cable service but even my friends on Bell Canada have the same problem.... perhaps with nudging from the fans the UFC could help by talking with cable providers or should we focus our attention on the cable providers solely??
I encourage anybody else who feels this is unfair to contact BOTH aswell if they are so inclined and can find the free time. It's getting expensive to be an MMA fan these days and i find this somewhat insulting considering $60 in this economy isnt pennies to most ppl. I could take my wife to the movies multiple nights with this $. We could rent movies for a month. They should put the events in a "movies on demand" type format after you purchase them, i mean is Rogers or the UFC actually making $ from ppl that buy a 2nd time?? I would venture to say slim to none are the chances of 2nd time buyers for the same event.
We as the consumer truely have the power. But we must unite to generate it.
