At first I thought he was drunk but as the interview progresses he seems to be the old Forrest again.

Like a kid who gets what he wants.

Expect he'll be kicking and screaming again when he doesn't get what he wants.

way to pass judgment. Lets never forgive him ever. Maybe if we are lucky he will even die in his next fight.

Nice to see the real Forrest back =] What he did after the Silva fight didn't really bother me though tbh, but it is nice to see him back to his old self. Such a quality bloke.

I agree with diablo24570824367
Forrest is a fighter who always brings exciting fights and you should respect him.
Getting back from a loss like that is no joke, man.

The guy threw a temper tantrum for months, never apologized... and then, he beats Tito, and we should be grateful that the "true" Forrest is back?

Know who was the "true" Forrest? The one who ran from the ring and pissed on his fans.

I'm secure without a nut to hug. You can have mine.

Forrest is mercurial for sure. Moody bastards are hard to put up with, but I love when they come back with a win.

QFFT.

And not only did he not apologize after throwing his temper tantrum, he acted like a complete toolbag in trying to disregard everything that happened in interviews with his "quirky" sense of humor.

I'm glad he beat Tito...only because I dislike Tito way, way more than Forrest, but the circle jerk surrounding this guy is completely ridiculous. If it were someone like Josh Koscheck or even Anderson Silva that pulled that bullshit, he'd be crucified on this forum and others.

Trust me, I know ALLLLL about pointing out the short comings of this guy. Of all the things I've said on this forum, nothing caused so much spark and hate over something I said then when one bad thing about the almighty Forrest. People are so one dimensional with this guy that it's hard to believe. They get so defensive with him that I rarely use the term "nuthugger" but this term couldn't be closer to the truth when it comes to Forrest Griffin and his cult following.

You're just a cook...

I agree with you Alex and I'm one of the nithuggers.
Don't know what it is, but I can't hate the guy. I just can't.
I think it's because he has the Rocky factor.
He seems like your everyday regular dude who has no super-talents, just a drive that won't make him quit.

He reminds people of themselves, that's why he's the people's champion.

basically. kind of surprised that the same ppl that think this was an imppressive win are the same ppl saying forrest is top 5 LHW..

You cant have it both ways, if he was so elite why couldnt he finish an ailing fighter past his prime that was 18 months removed from the octagon

To Live is 2 suffer, 2 survive? well that is 2 find meaning in the suffering
