I do this could be serra's first step to getting on track for a nice little title run no way he wins but he could put on a nice run

Fighters:
Houston Alexander
GSP
Patrik Cote

Serra doesn't have a chance in hell at impacting the WW division at all. He'll come in, lose a couple, and Dana will send him packin'.

I guess you're a Serra fan? No disrespect, but you must be if you actually think Serra could make a run for anything. There isn't a top 10 welterweight that Serra can beat. After his major upset of St. Pierre, nobody that is a contender will ever get caught like that by him. Serra has a punchers chance, only slightly, against any good welterweight and a snowballs chance in hell of ever becoming a contender.

???

Serra has pretty good hands with allot of power and a unbelievable ground game, its funny how people dont give him love just because he beat their precious GSP.

That was a fluke, and I don't care what you, or anyone else has to say about it, you all know it. Serra is in no way, shape, or form, better than GSP.

He has decent stand up, and a good ground game, but they're no better than any top contender in the UFC. Serra isn't even gatekeeper status, IMO.

I give half a shit about him beating GSP. I don't give him love because he hasn't evolved and won't be a contender ever again, unless he goes to Strikeforce, or someother UFC minor league org. He has alot of power and that's why he has a punchers chance, but he hasn't evolved into the level of fighter that is currently in the UFC welterweight division.

I'll be the first to admit after the GSP win my hate for him grew due to my bias since GSP was and still is my fav fighter, but that's not the only reason I don't like him.

On the other hand, even though I don't like him I still think he's a good fighter and think he should have won the decsion over Hughes, and has some of the best jitz in his devision. Also as you mentioned he's got power in his hands.

Even though I think he's a good fighter I think guys like KOS, Fitch, GSP, Alves, Hardy (now) and other top guys would beat him, so I don't see him getting another title shot at WW.
Just my 2 cents.

1. BJ "The Prodigy" Penn
2. Dan "Hollywood" Henderson
3. George "Rush" St Pierre

Serra has one submission win in the UFC, back in 2002... His ground game is highly overrated by many.
