You're so ignorant, guess what PPV numbers are the ONLY thing that matters and you can actually prove PPV numbers not some nonsense about "oh im sure alot of MMA fans like him"(but clearly not enough to buy his PPVs, lmao).
This sounds exactly like the fedor argument. His PPVs get terrible buys too, then out of the woodworks his fans come out and say oh its not about PPV buys.
Yeah right, I think thats a load of shit.If you can't prove it don't even bother.
Anderson has a pretty reasonable following, his PPV buys are not massive but they are not small either. Why does a fighter always have to be super popular. Anderson has proved a HUGE amount, he has dominated more in the UFC than anyone ever has. He has a sizable fan base, and is champion of a division and stacking title defenses.
I was more so attacking your ignorant "Anderson needs to learn English comments"
I think if Anderson really wanted to have a huge cult following in America, he would learn English, do a rap with Snoop Dog, talk shit about his opponent pre fight, flip off UFC sponsors and generally do more outlandish things to get himself in the headlines.
However he does none of the above, he comes he fights, he kicks the shit out of everyone, dances around in the ring a bit, then post fight he is respectful to his opponent. He upholds a good image for the sport and seems to be a friendly guy. I don't think he cares that he lacks PPV buys he is in the tail end of his career now, almost everything has been accomplished. He is such a good fighter that he doesn't need to talk shit in the media to gain hype, it just happens when people watch him fight.
