Fitch via unanimous decision.
He definitely has to fight Thiago Alves next. I know Alves pulled out with an injury but fighting guys like Mike Pierce is pointless when you are the second/third best in the whole WW division.

18-0 could be the biggest vote landslide ever. What if Pierce takes this? He fights winner of GSP/Hardy (ie fights an uninjured GSP)?
This is obviously the biggest fight of Pierce's career so far, if he somehow manages to take this - maybe if Fitch underestimates him - does he get rocketed up the WW ladder?

It definitely wouldn't hurt to get a win over Jon Fitch. I'm not sure if he would get a title shot before another big name fight though.
I think that this is very unlikely to happen though. But it is MMA so who knows?
