Extreme MMA has a little shameless behaviour in the past
UFC 66 ads

I've been to 3 websites with those ad banners advertising UFC 66. I've never seen one before today. It looks like the UFC is trying to go mainstream. Do you think it should or should it stay partially behind the scenes?

Discuss.

More advertising means more fans means more money. Smart business move if you ask me and we all know how much of a Business man Dana is. What I hate it Tito saying in one commercial "I want my belt back" then in another " I don't care about the belt I just want to beat Chuck's ass"

If you have a good "Product" and you beleive in your "Brand" you need to advertise, this is what all the big names do.
Coke
Pepsi
Nike
and so on...these companies are big already but in order to stay big they need their name out there in front of the consumer's face all the time. That's why we recognize these names, we see them everyday, it becomes second nature. The UFC needs to pump up the advertising.IMO

Staying behind the scenes wouldn't do much good for the buisness. I haven't seen any UFC ad's around yet but I'm not suprised there are more for UFC 66 than before since Dana is expecting a record 1 - 1.5 million buys for this event.
