Mike Thomas Brown

Mike is a great fighter. That being said, he's a little slow for 145. Do you think he should maybe consider moving up to 155? I could see him being a force in the UFC's lightweight divison. The guy has great wrestling and jiu jitsu.

Personally, I don't like the idea. Mike's biggest asset is his ability to bully opponents... at 155 he loses that. He doesn't have the greatest technique in any area, but he overcomes it with sheer power.

I dunno man..

Brown's frame is simply much better suited at FW than LW. He's going to be way too light and small at 155 and the only advantage he'll have will be speed. The negatives outweigh the positives imo.

Btw I don't know if you know but he competed at LW before.

I agree. He could handle Faber x2, he is fine at 145. Just because he lost to Aldo should not be a slight on him. Aldo is a beast. If you doubt that, ask Cub Swansons eye

What's next for Brown anyway?

Fabiano? Assuncao if he loses to Faber? Gamburyan?

This. Brown's power and build becomes average at 155, he just needs to re think his game plan and re-set to fight Aldo again.

I agree with cndbaron I mean if he wanted to get faster I dunno going up in weight would help that, I actually could see him down at 135...def stay a 145 though...

I cant even tell if your joking???? If your serious Mikle Thomas Brown trains down the street from me at ATT of Coconut Creek....He fights at 145 prob walks at 170 and to cut 35 lbs when your affiliated with ATT....really is no prob....for him to right there certainly inst out of the realm of possible at all.....

i.e.

Thiago Alves fights 170 Walks 207...that is a cut he makes over like a week not weeks.....
