Is Frank Mir Done?

Will he EVER regain the status he once had?

Would he be best off heading to another organization and spending a few years there honing his game?

I don't think so I mean Vera wasn't really the ideal opponent for someone who is easing his way back into the sport. I think he'll be back, not that I was a huge fan of him in the ring anyway but I like his personality and would hate to see him fall away

I like Mir, I liked watching a big dude like that submitting people.

Also, it's sad what happened to him and he definitely deserves to be back on top one day. He obviously put some work in on his conditioning this time, but too bad Vera didn't let us see much of it. The only thing Mir can do at this point is just keep fighting if he's ever going to get back up there.

Mir is a guy I'd definitely love to see fighting in the UFC again. But in all reality I can't see him back anytime soon. I'd like to see him work his way up in Pride (If possible) which I'd think would be a nice test for him to see if he's actually serious about continuing fighting, considering all the creamies they got in the HW division it'll show everyone he's not messin around and he'll be able to stand in mma as a solid competitor because I wouldn't want to see him fade away... Wes Sims's toe misses him

Frank Mir is a better commentator than he is fighter. That is not a knock against Mir or anything. He's just a really good commentator, who would be helpful to both Rogan & Goldie. They really need to replace Couture in the booth, and Frank Mir's the guy to do it. Frank's smart, well spoken, and he always tries to explain what's going on in the Octagon.

Randy seems incredibly bored when he commentates. He rarely gets amped about anything. Great guy though lol

I like Randy's commentating, I find it a nice break from the nonstop verbal diarrhea of Joe ImSoExcitedImabouttoshitmypants Rogan.

And yes that is officially his middle name.
