Lil Nog vs Shogun II is the fight to watch.
I am with you on that one.

that would be a hard fight for forrest, last time he faced a good boxer like that, he got stopped by rashad.
Rashad's hands are good, but looking soley at boxing skill (excluding intangibles i.e., chin, speed ...etc) Lil Nog's probably almost (if not) a step better than Rashad. That being said, it only validates your point to a higher degree; so I agree, Forrest would have big trouble with Lil Nog everywhere.

IMO Lil Nog > Forrest at ever aspect, besides kicking perhaps.
...and I'm not even on the "Nog-Wagon"; this is based on sheer unbiased fact (opinion lol).

Is Forrest a different fighter now? maybe..he has some more losses and doesnt look as good as he once did, but he never really was a fighter you looked at and said "wow he has skill" he has always been and always will be a fighter people look at and say "he has guts, dont ever count him out of a fight." All i am saying is that he shouldnt be completely disregarded to win a fight like this. He wouldnt be the favorite for obvious reasons but I wont count him out ever again and really he could win this fight.
And as i also recall everyone was saying what you just did before the Anderson fight and he got utterly destroyed.

Well lil Nog is 18-3 against great competition at 205 vs 16-4 in Silva at 175 and 185, then a little at 205. Just sayin'.

Lil' Nog's only relevant losses are a very competitive battle with Shogun and a flash KO (fluke KO?) by Sokoudjou. Besides that he submitted prime Henderson in the first round, has has beaten Overeem twice, and we all saw him absolutely dominate Luiz Cane -btw Cane is on a six month medical suspension from that fight.

I'm not saying lil Nog is better but to say he's NOWHERE near the level of Silva is ignorant. He's won a Gold in boxing at the South American Games and he and Minotauro gave Silva his black belt.

I would LOVE to what it looks like when those two spar at Blackhouse.

Okay if u wanna go by the whole black belt thing think about this, do you honestly believe that Cesar Gracie would beat Nick or Nate Diaz in a sanctioned MMA fight? Or do you believe he would beat Jake Shields? I understand that he recieved his blackbelt from them but comparing Silva and Lil Nog in an actual mma fight is rediculous Silva would win 9/10.

That's not comparable, I'm stating that Silva OWES his hype and UFC record to Nogueira. I'm confident that without Nog's BJJ training, Silva would have been overcome by Henderson, Lutter, and perhaps Leites.

Lil Nog is a big guy, a world class boxer with unreal BJJ. There isn't a single guy in MMA that he doesn't pose huge threats to - end of story. Silva isn't invincible.
