Old style UFC Tourney

Remember those old style tourneys that made Royce Gracie so famous, you had to win three matches in one day. Imagine it now....Top 8 (all around the same weight..no behemoths or smaller dudes). I included Fedor and Moussasi only because they should be in the UFC?

So here we go

#1) Anderson Silva
#2) Lyoto Machida
#3) Fedor
#4) Shogun Rua
#5) G. Moussasi
#6) D. Henderson
#7) J. Dos Santos
#8) T. Silva

Match #1) A. Silva vs. T. Silva
Match #2) Lyoto Machida vs. J. Dos Santos
Match #3) Fedor vs. Dan Henderson
Match #4) G. Moussasi vs. Shogun Rua

Winners face off and so on...who wins this tourney (presume no injuries)...this is for fun and maybe a start to a good MMA discussion..I know it would NEVER come close to happening in real life...LOL

I would say Fedor or Anderson but just for fun I picked Henderson. He did a good job against Anderson and I think he could win a rematch.

Machida threw Tito off like a little girl but I think Henderson could get it down.

Fedor well.......shouldn't have been inlcuded haha but ya he takes the Tourney.

Thats right...but I wanted to include people of somewhat similar size...hey its my 8! Interesting that A. Silva and Fedor are huge frontrunners and Machida is getting no love.

Oh wait wait here comes the Machida Love
He will fight the Final vs. Anderson and beat him after 0.40 sec in the very first round

No just kidding, but he takes it!

Hasn't Fedor already fought in these type of tournaments?
