Are you guys forgetting that Syvlia has actually knocked a LOT of good fighters out? Remember those days? Ricco, McGee, Arlovski, a whole slew of great fighters. Tim can be a good fighter if he wants but I can't see him being aggressive towards CroCop unless he loses his belt before they fight.

Agreed. The Tim Sylvia who fought Cabbage Correira was intense and showed well rounded striking skills. Fast strong punches, nice high knees and even some use of the Muay Thai clinch. He was aggressive and went for the kill, he put the pressure on hard and the crowd loved it.
Unfortunately he doesn't fight like that anymore and settles for playing it safe. The Tim Sylvia who fought Monson would get his ass ruined, either that or it'll be yet another mind numbing decision. The early Tim Sylvia would make for one hell of a great fight.
Whatever happened to the old Timmy? One of my friends jokes that it's the 'roid rage that made him good back in the day, I don't know if that's true but it's damn funny.
