He murdered Leben to a point where he was blocking Leben's looping punches with his face. Big time murder.

As for Grove, he wasn't really dominating him. A few takedowns, Grove kept going for submissions and Rosholt, being the bad fighter he is, fell right into them.

You're just a cook...

I think it is a BS cut. He deffinitly deserved another fight. He was thrown to the wolves in only his second UFC fight and beat Leben. That alone should have gauranteed him nother fight. Its funny how he got cut but a guy like Ryan Jensen gets a 4th chance after going 0-3 in the UFC. The UFC makes no sense with a lot of these cuts.

I have a strong bias against wrestlers and was pretty pissed when they cut jake O' brian a few months back but I really think in due time rosholt could be one of the top guys. He didn't put on a bad performance against Grove, IMO he was winning until the triangle. I don't understand why they cut him and not Leben, this guy is new and fresh, dominated Leben and shown that he has room for improvement. While Leben hasn't shown any improvement, we keep him because he's supposedly marketable. The UFC could market anyone like Leben. He wont have a problem getting a job with strikeforce and beating cans and ufc washouts till he gets the anti-ufc hype train behind him.

With his credentals you could probably market him towards the wrestling fans.

Great point.
I would have loved to see him take at least one more fight.
I think Strikeforce will "adopt" him now.

.

He'd make a nice addition to MFC, too. He'd certainly cost them less than either Leites or Lister.

leben lost 2 straight and tested positive for steroids..but he has his ultimate fighter fame and a ton of memorable fights. and sells plenty of tickets
the fact of the matter is selling tickets..i thought rosholt did decent against grove but its an understandable cut..he was aired on the spike broadcast seen by most viewers and i feel like his loss was more important then a win on the unaired broadcast...i doubt marcus davis will get cut despite losing 2 back to back and being viciously stopped because hes got a nice storyline going w dan hardy..

Top 5

1.Frank Mir
2.Mirko Crocop
3.Anderson Silva
4.Sean Sherk
5.Keith Jardine

Koscheck is a fine example of a fighter that changed his ways when he realized no one likes to watch boring wrestlers.
Can't you see how damaging to the sport this could potentially be??

If people like you had it your way, we'd just be watching talentless bums swinging for the fences for 3 rounds.

We need talented fighters aswell as exciting fighters, Rosholt may not have been exciting but he was definately talented.
