Looks like a great matchup. Belfort at the start, Marquardt if it lasts. I don't think Nate's stupid, as long as he doesn't Rich 'so what?' Franklin this, he has the tools to keep Belfort guessing.

Great idea. I don't even think he deserves to fight Nate yet but it's a much better idea than for him to go straight to Anderson for the title.

I like this fight as it helps to solidify the #1 contender in the MW's. Also if this fight is happening, I think Franklin should move into the slot to face Sonnen, giving the card 2 nice MW bouts and helping the card meet its SB Weekend status.
As far as the bout, its real tough to go with either fighter as a favorite, Nate is well seasoned and has had some impressive wins lately. Belfort has faced some of the toughest fighters in his career, never been KO (was TKO twice, one doctor stoppage and one due to strikes, both vs. Couture)but has mainly lost to the top competition. IMO "The Phenom" has never really lived upto the hype. That being said, I like Nate, who has only been TKO'd by Silva.

This fight has me very interested. I think that Nate has a chance to pull it off. But I am taking Vitor on this one.

This makes sense after Hendo's apparent departure and it's got the potential to be a great fight.

Belfort's got the edge standing but Marquardt's so well rounded...

It's a very tough fight to call (If it does happen) but I think Vitor's speed and agression will be too much for Nate to handle.

I think Marquardt is an excellent fighter but guys like Silva and Belfort are his worst match up. Nate's stand up is madly over rated, he drops his hands and is simply not that hard to hit. Belfort will drop him like a bad habit.
