If there was any doubt that Jardine is now officially a gatekeeper to battle the young guns, it's gone now. Next up for the Dean of Mean: Jon Jones?

One thing: Jardine needs to look out for that big right hand Bader has.
Considering Jardine jaw, this fight could end very fast.
Bader has some issues to sort out, but id he is patient and lands one of those big rights, fight is over.

.

BELIEVE!

wow exciting fight ... it's always fun when rising talent finally climbs up to the big guns with the gateway fight. I'll give this to Bader by TKO rd 2, because Jardine has shown far less consistency and discipline than Bader so far. But you never know with the Dean, I never thought he'd dismantle Chuck and Vera like he did ... his fights are always fun.

WOW. This is a huge test for Bader, but I love it. I say Jardine takes this one. He trains with very solid wrestlers, and without a doubt is refining his stand up. I think it's easy to overlook how much more technical is stand up has been getting with his recent loss to Thiago Silva, but don't be fooled, Jardine is ever improving.

I'm also very interested in seeing Kim and Lytle. I think Lytle is a durable fighter and a battle for anyone. We'll see how it goes.

I haven't seen Bader fight much. In the standup, is he a counter-puncher or a walk forward guy? Jardine always hangs with counter punchers (Liddell, Forrest, Rampage) because he takes the space they give him but he gets obliterated by aggressive guys (Wandy, Alexander, Silva).

Anyone want to enlighten me?

anyone else wonder why Rothwell is in the UFC still? He straight up sucks and his last fight was pathetic he is a suckier version of tim sylvia lol, granted he is fighting cro-cop who hasn't been good for a few years now.

Pulling for the Dean on this one though

Jardine is miles better as a fighter, but I'm prettysure if he comes into this fight using his "unique" style, and stands with Bader, I think he will get KO'd.

I'm hoping Jardine proves me wrong

You really never know what Jardine you are gonna see. It could be the one that beat Chuck Liddell and TKO'd Forrest, or it could be the one who was Ko'd by Wand and Houston.
