basically in terms of popularity elvis sinosic is to australia what fedor is to russia ( a little over exaggeration but not much) plus elvis has a semi huge fan base for just because he does not win does not mean he does not put on a show

Actually, that's a huge exaggeration. Pretty sure if he was walking the streets of Melbourne/Syndey/Brisbane/Perth/Adelaide/etc, no-one would notice him at all.

Interesting to hear your opinion on this, as by the sound of it you think there are many?

He's kind of a "fall guy" but at the same time he's very popular in aussieland, so it kinda makes sense to have him even if hes not a "legit" threat as a fighter.

Bisping, Hardy, Pearson and Winner are all far worse than Elvis? You do realize Bisping gave Sinosic an almighty beatdown when they met, right?

Mr Nixon... why do you have to always deliver your point in such an inflammatory way? You clearly want to wind up the Brits writing shit like that. Naughty boy.

I don't mean to be anal and keep going on - but your comment was that when the UFC held an event in the UK "They had lots of brit cans fighting"

The Carwin card you talk about, (UFC 89) Which I happened to be at, had the following englishman on the card

Bisping
Paul Taylor
Paul Kelly
Dan Hardy
Terry Etim

& Neil Wain (Who I agree with you is a can)

So that makes 1 on that card.

You also mentioned Neil Grove (who considers himself South African, although born in England) he fought @ UFC 95 which had the following brits fighting

Dan Hardy
Terry Etim
Paul Kelly
& Neil Grove (Who, again I agree with you, can be considered a can)

So, to summarise - you said that the UK events have a lot of cans on the cards.

1 on each making a total of 2. So I disagree
