Yeah because Anderson is surely going to buy that fake jab into a slow ass takedown, and he definitely will not throw any knees so yeah, out of those 4 fights Lutter definitely has a shot

Oh, and this thread isn't about "upsets", it's about who will be in the most pain, does that mean they have to lose? No, so let's not turn this into a "I'm rooting for the underdogz lolz@1!!!1!" In fact, I wouldn't be surprised at all if there was an upset out of those 4...but again, it's not on topic.

So basically this is what we've narrowed it down too.

Serra will eat about 43 elbows
Sanchez is out quick and easy and unconsious for about 34 seconds
Eastman wouldn't endure much punishment but still take an ass beating
Lutter eats some knees, gets dazed a bit and takes about 8 jabs to the face before dropping

I would just like to mention that Silva is not an amateur on the ground like Cote.

Just because you saw him destroy Leben and Franklin with his stand-up don't assume he has no ground game.

I find it funny how people think Silva is somehow this almighty fighter, who doesn't have weaknesses. Silva sucks at avoiding the takedown, and let Stiebling take him down with ease. Silva hasn't shown me anything on the ground that even warrants the "OMG SILVAZ A BJJ BLACKBELT!". Silva's BJJ blackbelt is about as legit as Belfort's. Lutter has a shot, and to think otherwise is stupid. I also find it funny how people are judging Lutter based on his TUF 4 work. He was doing pretty well against Matt Lindland at UFC 52(Well, the first round atleast), but got lazy.

Lutter has lost to Jorge Rivera, Matt Lindland, & Trevor Prangley. All 3 of those guys are dangerous opponents(Jorge was at the time. Now, he's not that good, but the Jorge of old beat Loiseau, and gave Franklin a hard time). Hell, Lindland is one of the best MW's in the world at this moment, and Prangley would give anyone trouble.

Oh, and this thread isn't about "upsets", it's about who will be in the most pain.

If anything, talking about upsets actually made this thread somewhat interesting.

Damn straight. The two guys to who stopped Anderson did it by sub, after all, so a sub fighter stands the best chance. Not saying Lutter should be the favourite, but counting him out is a mistake.

Good post. I definetly agree that he is not this all around awesome fighter. Yah he knocked out Leben and KOd Franklin. Thats what he does best and they played into his game. Yah sure he has a BJJ blackbelt big deal, so does Wanderlei Silva and look at his ground game. He doesnt have subs hes got defense. I have seen anderson fight on the ground and he dos get submitted. I dont even know why he is thought so godly right now by the MMA world, yah he beat Franklin who is just a bad match up for him. When he was in Pride he was only mediocre. He never beat any of there big names and lost to some so so guys. Put the guy in the ring with a guy like Paulo Filho and he would be destroyed. Lutter Definetly has a chance at this fight. It isnt a great chance but if there is an upset on the card this is going to be it.
