I like JDS. He seems very athletic and fights to his strengths or sticks to his teams gameplan at least. I think he is going to beat Yvel but it won't prove much because he's already beat CC. He needs to fight someone with some good TD attempts to see if he has stuffing or grapling game....which I think he will.

So for the record, JDS has trained with Shogun, Machida, Anderson Silva, Big Nog, Lil Nog, and Demian Maia.

COme on lets get those votes.

How do you think JDS would do against guys outside the UFC.

Vs Werdum, Rogers, Bigfoot, Fedor, Arlovski?

Hm, I think he'd probably uppercut KO Werdum in about a minute. Could be wrong though...

He'd also tool Bigfoot using expert MMA math.

Well Werdum has only recently developed his stand up game and he had a serious case of ISS when he fought JDS and payed dearly for it, i think his striking is better and in a rematch he would use the striking to set up the takedowns.

ISS?

All I know is he had just dominated Gonzaga and Werdum and JDS stopped him in his tracks, then he won two more times to date.

Improved Standup Synodrome, basically when a grappler/wrestler starts to develop a standup game and suddenly thinks it's a good idea to stand and bang with everyone instead of relying on their former strenght.
