lol I was just messing with ya, but yeah he actually has some sick ground skills which i see the hw div. lacking so I would like to see him try it out to see what happens when he trains in a good camp, he does not need great stand up, he just needs good enough so that he can survive long enough to take the other guy down

Actually i can't really see those huge ground skills everybody is talking about. He is big yea that's an advantage for him on the ground and his submission game looks decent ok, but if you cannot hold a guy down named Matt Mitrone or get a sub on him, then you should just give up. Especially in MMA you need to train very early in youre life otherwise you will never be as good as the other guy

I tend to agree but both really are super unexperienced.....Marcus was my only loss last night otherwise I won 4-5 picks Always when betting on these TUF fighters its a gamble more than others, but yeah Marcus......i thought he would use whatever ground he has to win it in the first, then those heavy hands Matrione has landed....

I think in the sport people need to start thinking....i'm not to old to do that.....I'm 30 if i never trainned a day in my life, I should still be healthy and athletic enough to train and grow as a fighter.....

I think Matrione has less experience than Marcus....

Either way you will see both of them again, Dana like each of them....

Thats just not true at all... GSP started wrestling relatively late on in his young life, especially compared to the likes of Matt Hughes and Josh Koscheck and he out wrestled both of them.

Hey Coldcall, nice to see you back^^ what happend with youre account? Was it because of the hacker??

But yes youre right, even when you past the 30 years mark, you can still train and become a great Fighter or Athlet! But the guy who started earlier in his life will always be ahead of you.

And I also had Marcus in this fight. Because I thought Mitriones bad condition would stop him after the first, second round like it nearly did in his first fight. I still can't belive that he was an NFL Professional^^

lol i also lost at the Kimbo vs. Houston fight^^ it's really a 50:50 situation in those TUF fights I stick with the real UFC fight's from now on. But youre credits are saved for the Lyoto fight anyway

I don't really know when GSP started Wrestling, but it must be a long time ago when they want him to compete in the Olyimpic Games for his home country. When did Koscheck started? As a kid?? I can't really answer to youre reply but it must be because GSP is such a hard worker! He is one of those guys who can catch up to somebody who started way earlier! He is more an exeption. There are only a few people out there who train so hard like he does.

I'm not sure I completely agree. I think that it would be harder for someone to start learning later than it would be had they started early. But that just means that they have to work at it a little bit harder. It is definitely possible though.

Good ground game, horrible striking and striking defense when going for a takedown/clinch. And his chin is almost as bad as AA's chin. I'd say he should just quit MMA right now.

Yeah he is a hard worker, for sure. He makes out like he never stops training and learning new things. Nevertheless he is still a great example that shows you dont have to have done it from a young age... it just helps!
