Don't conjure facts out of midair. He lost 3 times in a row, not "4-5", and for a highlight exciting fighter like he is (usually, anyways) its not uncommon for the UFC to keep fighters like this after 3 losses.
Second, coming in against a fighter like kimbo he couldn't just brawl like he usually does, because it was clear that kimbo had better hands. he explained to joe rogan earlier that this was his gameplan and he stuck to it. it just didn't work.
This, however, doesn't mean the fight was fixed. I could see a case for hamill vs bisping or shogun vs machida being fixed, however unlikely, but saying this fight was crooked is just plain retarded.

LOL, if Houston would have fought the way he normally does, he would have played right into Kimbo's strength and would have been KOed.

It looked very odd to me that Houston didn't jump right in and finish it after he dropped Kimbo with that leg kick.

It looked like Kimbo was about to tap or was quitting or something. I think thats why Houston didnt jump on him.

I think Houston was worried about being the guy in the UFC that loses to Kimbo. So much so he never was even in the fight. I don't think he took a dive, I just think his head was thinking wrong.

This is actually what I was thinking the whole time. I don't actually think he threw the fight, but I figured a lot of people would, so I wanted to be the first one to start a thread on it. It did look suspicious and the thought of a fixed fight did cross my mind though.
I thought the exact thing though, that Houston just didn't wanna lose, but some parts just made me scratch his head, I mean my head. The one part swpthleg mentioned, and when Kimbo mounted him, he just didn't look like he cared. This fight sucked.

Lots of talk here about what Houston should have been doing but can I ask WTF did Kimbo do to win the fight?
IMO Houston clearly won the 1st and 3rd rounds.
Kimbo seemed to want to take the easy option by using his size advantage ( claimed 212 pounds to 208 but it was a sh*tload more than that ) to LnP. What a f*cking bitch!
Coupled with the announcement that Chuck and Tito are the next TUF coaches It seems the UFC is becoming a farce.

Are you serious? Did we not just have this discussion a couple months ago with Silva & Griffin. Please. Houston sucks plain and simple.

Throw the fight? Are you serious? Houston is just a crappy fighter with an even crappier game plan. He didnt finish kimbo when he dropped him because he was so tired.
Seriously look up my posts ive always hated kimbo but I give respect when its due.

What is this talk about throwing the fight? houston tried but just didnt have the answers to finish Kimbo. It looked like two inexperianced fighters to me. Kimbo was much improved from where he was, but both men gassed in the end of the 2nd.
