Was anyone else really impressed with this guy? I liked him in each of his fights. Thought the match between him and Nelson was stopped too early as Nelson wasn't really doing any damage to him.

The one thing he doesn't have going for himself is his size as he is a little too small for some of the monsters in the HW division but too big to make LHW. He makes up for his size with some good skills and determination though.

I am looking forward to seeing him in a few more fights.

He's a great kickboxer, but he tends to get a bit sloppy at times.

I'm looking forward to seeing him get beat in the future as he came off as a douchebag in TUF.

Yeah ive been impressed by him after his first fight with the big tall dude which was a bad fight, after that mcsweeny started to show some skills. Was really impressed with him tonight hes got some nasty stand up and decent ground n pound. I think he should drop to 205.

I'm actually very unimpressed with him. I get the feeling Dana is going to build himself another UK superstar like he did with Bisping and just feed the guy cans and fights that are perfect for him.

I thought he put on a decent performance, but he was a little sloppy at times - if Schoonover put a little more oomph into a couple of those punches that hit him, he could've been KO'd. But yeah otherwise he's pretty good.

Thanks to limba for this AWESOME sig

To bad he won

I was hoping that this guy would lose after the way he acted on the show he most be closely related to Bisbing.

I wasnt impressed at all. He fought a terribly out of shape guy with minimal skills and couldnt finish him when he should have. I will fully reserve judgement until I see him fight an actual UFC level heavyweight, but judging by what we saw of him tonigh and what we saw of him on the show, im not expecting big things out of him.

I think you have to give Schoonover some credit for not being finished earlier in that fight. He took some monster shots but kept on going, lots of other fighters would not have lasted as long as he did taking those kinds of shots.
