I didn't have any problems. I understand that the UFC is a business and is going to exploit Kimbo for as long as they can... just like they did to Houstong. And the interview with Hulk, nothing to surprising there because he is a famous cultural icon.

i just think it's a matter of time before there's some kind of interaction between wrestling, errr, wrasslin' and mma. i hope i'm wrong, but dana and the fritittas (sp), seem hucksters enough to let it happen for some money.

I don't see the problem here . The Hulk interview was funny and mainly done for promotional purposes on SpikeTV (What're you gonna do BROTHER?). I think it was pretty clear Kimbo won that fight so not really bothered by the judging other than one judge giving him all three rounds. And you can't blame the UFC if the fight wasn't what you expected. Personally, while a bit slow, I found the fight pretty entertaining.

The DQ in the Bones-Hamill fight was pretty disappointing but Jones said himself that he broke the rules so he shouldn't have won the fight. While I don't think he should have gotten an L, under the current rules it makes sense to take the W from him. Though, it is unfortunate. And I've only watched the fight once but at the time I didn't think it was a late stoppage, Matt was surviving he just had no choice but to wait out the round.

And I'm a Chuck fan so any opportunity to see Chuck back (and against an opponent who he clearly can beat) is a good thing for me.

All in all I completely disagree with you on everything but as someone already said, its your opinion. I think I just saw things very differently.

I enjoyed the show..especially considering it was free. A little advice to Spike though: Keep Hogan away from the beer cart until after the interview.

Joe Rogan seemed to not really care about anything. His facial expressions during the Hogan interview and the Dana White interview seemed like he was really bored. A little disappointing with that.

yea I totally know what you mean, I tune into every UFC event I can get my hands on to see Joe Rogan's facial expressions and he just did not deliver last night. You know, I hope Dana does something bout this in the future. Mike seemeed fine, I don't know what Joe's deal was.

Explain yourself on the "horrible judging in the Kimbo match."

As long as the UFC puts on the important fights with the best fighters on the plant they can do whatever they want with fight nights and TUF finales. AS long as the focus is legitimate martial arts they will never jump the shark in my view.

lol, it had a bit of a freak show atmosphere to be sure. I couldn't watch on Saturday, but fast forwarding and seeing Hogan vs. Rogan was just too much. In a good way, I mean.

Then there's Kimbo, who may or may not be a legitimate UFC/MMA fighter. Same thing with Alexander. One weighed 30 lbs. more than the other, but hey, it's all for show.

It was a wacky, free event, and an effective teaser and trailer to keep you hooked, to the good stuff, like Penn vs. Sanchez, the bad stuff (TUF) and the ugly (Kimbo and Houston pretending to be UFC fighters.

Hulk Hogan. Sorry.

He must have about 200 do-rags with fake hair sewn into them in his house.

That made me put my face in my hands. WTF.
