Lmao - but not yet man, Jones would be picked apart by Silva at this stage. I doubt it'd even happen, with Silva's contract coming closer to an end and all, and it doesn't seem too likely that he'll re-sign (I could be wrong though).

Thanks to limba for this AWESOME sig

Jones has the potential to run this sport for years, but at this stage, Anderson would own him something feirce. Give "Bones" a few years to get in his experience, when he can pick those shots as well as he can throw them, he'll take Anderson's place at the top. Which we all know will be vacated pretty soon.

Why is it everytime someone wins, they say how about this guy vs A. Silva? Theres not to many people out there that can be compared to A. SIlva. So if you asked me Bones would get schooled quickly. In a few years than maybe but now, no sir. Hey maybe Diego Sanchez could fight silva if he beats Penn.

Jones vs Silva needs to happen soon. Anderson Silva is near the end of his contract and is getting older. He is still amazing for his age but I see some kind of decline coming soon. About Jones, why is that people keep saying he needs more experience ? This guy looks better and better with every performance in the octagon. He is dominant as it is right now and his physical attributes alone would make for a good fight with Silva. Let's not forget one of Anderson Silva's advantages is his reach and in this case that is not a factor. Also, Jones is quick on his feet like Silva and with good wrestling which is considered one of the most important disciplines in MMA. My only concern would be, how is Jones going to react when he gets hit hard in the face? Is he going to panic or is he going to show some heart ? There's only one way to know.

Why are people saying he needs more experience??? Did you watch the fight last night? He lost that because of his lack of experience and no how in the cage, he himself admits that.
Sorry my friend, but at this stage, Jones is crushed by Anderson. Sucks for Jones, but he was born about 7 years too late to be a contender against Silva.

That fight between Jones and Hamill should've been stopped a little earlier and we wouldn't have that decision to deal with. That illegal striking is something that can be corrected easily.

Wow ive seen some retarded posts here but this one nearly takes the cake. Jones will never be at the level as A silva, ever. No matter how much time he puts into the gym. I've still yet to be impressed by him. Hamill is a D level fighter. Also he was defending himself until the illegal elbows.

Feed jones any top 10 lhw and he would literally die in the cage.

they have some similarities... Very dynamic athletes. I think Jones needs a little more seasoning and i think he needs a few more contender bouts but yea he's got the gift
