Ortiz in the ufc hall of fame

I know there a quite a few tito haters out here, but be honest, say he beats liddel in this rematch, and looking back at his ufc career, do you think tito will be added in the ufc hall of fame?

If he beat Chuck hes a sure hall of famer. He may not even have to beat Chuck just get a few more UFC wins.

I don't like Ortiz but he has to be put in there due to the amount he has done for the company. The new era was completely cebtred around him and like him or not he turned a LOT of people onto ufc

I think he deserves to be in there, win or lose to Chuck.

Ortiz is most definitely a future UFC HOF'er. There was that dark period, where Ortiz was carrying the UFC on his back. Looking back, fans will remember his classic feud with the Lions Den, and his rivalry with Ken Shamrock(Which wasn't great, but it drew huge). In terms of charisma, Tito is the cream of the crop, and he's done so much memorable stuff, that it'd be almost criminal if he wasn't inducted one day.

This is coming from someone who really doesn't care that much about Ortiz as well. I respect him, but I'm not a huge fan of his.

One word- No.

A Hall Of Famer has got to be someone who's like "I When I think of UFC, I think of *Fill In The Blank*)

Not, CURRENT UFC, but straight-up HISTORY makers....like Royce Gracie, there from the beginning. I would think Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn....I don't really think Tito when it comes down to it. There IS a possibility, but I'd have to say if he beat Chuck and only then...

If that was the case then there would only be a few people who could ever make it then. The first few should'nt make it on the premise that they were there. Tito is to a lot of newer fans what Ken and Royce is to us

The thing is that if you ask anyone to name 3 UFC fighters, Ortiz would be one of the guys listed. Ortiz is a history maker for the UFC, and was one of their first strong champions. Ortiz has been in some of the most memorable UFC fights as well(vs Frank Shamrock(UFC 22), vs Ken Shamrock(UFC 40), vs Randy Couture(UFC 44), & vs Liddell(UFC 47). Granted, he lost most of those fights, but he was still a part of them). I say in about 5 years, Tito will be inducted. Tito was(Still is) one of their biggest stars. How the hell can you say he won't be a HOF'er?
