I heard Franklin is taking time off till May, so who knows when he will even want to sign a fight, if he signs somewhere in may... that would leave forrest out for basically a whole year.

Franklin stated in an interview recently he expects to have his next fight in late spring, or early summer at the latest.

I'd imagine that the UFC will want to get the Rampage - Evans bout underway as soon as possible while TUF 10 is still relatively fresh in people's minds, perhaps April / May time.

If Evans gets injured then I do think Rampage - Griffin 2 is a likely alternative.

Rich Franklin is taking some time off to evaluate his career. Griffin vs Franklin would be very entertaining but theres no way Griffin could win. Forrest is tailor made for Franklin.

I would have wanted to see Vera vs Griffin. Its way too early to put Jones up against a former LHW champ. Give Forrest Thiago Silva after he gets beaten by Rashad

Yeah, Jardine is already booked up. Even if he wasn't, in his last six fights he's went 2-4 so I think he really needs a couple of wins before having a chance at a rematch with Forrest.
