Lightweights Make Hard Decisions

See what I did there? I would have to say that out of all the divisions, LW's on a regular basis give preformances that result in razor close decisions that rival Shogun/Machida's. Some examples I would very much like to present involve current title contenders.

Clay Guida, man guy never has an easy fight and even when he fights his ass of gets the shaft in my opinion. I honestly think that Guida vs. Tyson Griffin's split decision was as much a shock as any, i didn't see how Tyson won the fight. While I'm on guida, his recent fight with Diego. Couldn't put two guys that cancel eachother out more. Just awesome, both never get tired, extremely aggressive, DS has awesome jiu jitsu and CG is awesome at "stiffling" jiu jitsu (credit that word to joe rogan)

Those are just a few, what are some other decisions you guys thought were straight razor close?

I think its because for some reason, not many LWs have any one hit KO power. Only ones I can recall are BJ, Guillard, and maybe Diego.

I think most lightweights rely on their ground game to either submit or get a tko.

the joe stevenson/nate diaz fight was close IMO...then again Im biased in favor of nate so who knows what other people think..

also the diego sanchez/guida fight was close and a tough decision..
