That blows, I like Condit. One of the most game fighters out there.

And I agree, Daley seems like a prick. If he's right and Condit knew he would be pulling out, then Daley has every right to be mad. But, basically, until we have any sort of confirmation, Daley's comments are worth absolutely nothing.

The thing is, Daley isn't a prick, he's always come off as a fairly easy-going guy and I've never really seen him say anything really bad or personal about another fighter before. Maybe he thinks some shittalking will get the people to notice him, or maybe Condit really is pulling some shady business.

Bollocks.

This was the fight I was most looking forward to at 108. I was 100% sure that Paul Daley was going to get his second win in the Octagon and that Condit was a good match for him.

For those calling Daley a dick, calm down and put yourself in his situation. You spend a lot of time and money training for a fight, you've already bought the plane tickets over there and then something like this happens. If that inside information is true then he has every right to be upset, get off your high horse.

A fight with Koscheck makes sense, but then you have to pull Koscheck from 109 and his fight with Paulo Thiago, so you're breaking up something from another card which is never good.

Thinking out loud here, Anthony Johnson? That would be a great fight, although I suppose Johnson still has a medical suspension from 106 still hanging over his head. Ben Saunders? Matt Brown?

Ahh, this sucks.

Well we'll see, although we'll probably never find out what has happened.

What's wrong with Condit anyway? The article didn't say.

Some kind of hand injury... that is all I have read.

Man give me a break! The UFC has some serious injury problems! I was really looking foward to this fight.

I still think that it is an interesting card though. Tyson Griffin and Jim Miller should be a good one! Joe Lauzon and Sam Stout are on the main card now! Evans vs. Silva really interests me. And JDS is always fun to watch!

The problem with this card is that these fights won't appeal to the casual fan as it isn't really stacked with big names. Besides the main event, most casual fans won't know much about the other fighters. Besides Sean Sherk maybe and he is on the undercard!

But to the more loyal fans, I think that this card is interesting. The fighters on this card are hard workers and they come ready to fight. I am excited!

I like the sound of that. I would have to take Alves if this happened though! I think that Alves' standup is a lot more versatile and I would give Alves the strength advantage as well.
