i hate the excuse, it is underhanded, silly and unnessicary. If you are going to use the excuse then dont take the fight on short notice. On top of that, Cain was preparing for Heath Herring, not Kongo. Completely different beasts and different styles, everything he trained for meant nothing when the match got switched, he is just simply a much better fighter then Kongo.
Unless Kongo was sitting on the couch eating donuts for the weeks prior to the short notice taking of the fight, he should have been training (he said he was, wolves lair said he was) regardless just to keep in shape and he had the same amount of time Cain had to prepare for an opponent. If anything it was a worse deal for Cain, he went from a very favorable matchup against HH, to a very dangerous Kongo coming off a couple decent showings and ranked pretty high at the time (top 15 i believe). He went from an easy fight with a vet to a hard fight with guy on the rise.
CC i predict same thing, but he is gonna choke Kongo out.
