well he was caught out anyway....heres how i look at it
Im not pissed that he bawled his eyes out, thats normal cuz fighting is his life. What I didnt like is how rude he was after the fight. After all the nice things Joe Rogan and Goldie say about you, how the fans love you, you cant even give 3 seconds of your precious time? First you say " he knocked me the f out, now lets go home." Then you are in such a hurry that you go the wrong way and then try and play it of by running back the other way and saying "ill be back" and then sprint to the back like the cops are chasing you? What the hell is that?

ya know who this reminds me of Chris Leban. He crys after every time he looses. There are other fighters that fighting is their entier life but they don't cry or act rude when they loose.
But I can kind of understand because he has never been beat that badly before. He is not a brat though I think he just acted on the spur of the moment without tinking.

Give the guy a ****in' break. He was one fight away from a shot at the Lightheavyweight Championship. He obviously had a lot riding on this fight, he obviously had high hopes coming into this fight. He was crushed. I'm sure I'd be acting a little bizzare, not only after being knocked out BADLY, but by being gutted of a chance at the LHW title. That's if I were a fighter, and I'm not. And I'm sure most people that are making these smartass comments aren't real fighters either.
Some people really need to learn some ****ing respect for the people that bust THEIR asses to entertain you. There's some pathetic posts on this thread and they're not just coming from the thread starter.

His reaction was warranted. He was knocked out. Nice to see he didn't stand in there and make excuses. The whole he went the wrong way and then tried to play it off comment was stupid because he wasn't playing anything off. He went the wrong way like a lot of other fighters do. Big deal. If he would have won, would you anyone still bring up such a petty thing? Prob not.

Seriously. Forrest or any fighter/athlete for that matter do not owe commentators/fans anything. Fighters entertain us and god do we love it. You and so many think they owe us the fans so much. This is such bs in my opinion. They are giving us something that we desire. How would you feel if there was no more NFL/UFC/MLB/NHL/Boxing? It would suck. We pay for a service and they provide it. Much like the same relationship between a company and their employees.
They owe us nothing. If anything we owe them a little appreciation and respect. I dont mean to be disrespectful and offend you but this silly and shallow illusion must come to an end eventually.

as I said he acted without thinking and let his emotions take over.
I know he is not a bad guy and he would have never acted like that if he would have been able to think be for he acted but sometimes you cant controll your emotions.

Im a fighter, and if you read my post that I made, I lost in a tournament today in the finals....I got up, I shook my opponents hand, congradulated him, and then stayed around while he celebrated. Im in the same boat as Forrest (and most of you will comment and say something about the UFC being a little more serious, but its the same thing to me.) I know what its like to have a dream taken away from you. You have to sack it up and take it like a man. You're not gonna win em all, and the ones you dont, you dont have to act like youre 5 years old and give the silent treatment

Yea I agree with HaVoK and The Jame.
First off, he just got rocked like a motherf*cker about 2 minutes prior. How many times has Forrest been TKOed? Exactly. His head wasn't all there for one. He probably wasn't much in the mood to talk considering he was borderline unconscious just a few seconds prior and he was probably embarrassed as hell. Wouldn't you be upset, embarrassed, and woozy if you were in his position? If he was a sore loser he wouldn't have given Jardine any credit for the win. He said "We came out and kept it standing just like I wanted to unfortunately he knocked me the f*ck out" How is that being a sore loser? I don't get it. I thought it was funny as hell not unlike any of his other post-fights.
