Lightweight Wonderland: Who can stop The Prodigy?

After a hard fought battle with #1 Contender Diego Sanchez, BJ Penn reigns victorious once again at UFC 107. Defeating Sanchez by TKO (doctor stoppage) in round 5. Ever since his loss to Welterweight champion "Georges St. Pierrre" Penn has had a new focus in terms of training and why he is doing Mixed Martial Arts in the first place. To be the best fighter in the sport and leave a legacy. The question now is who can stop BJ Penn? Some are saying that nobody can. They are saying BJ Penn will clean out the UFC Lightweight division. Is that possible? Maybe but somebody has to at least try.

I have a plan.

GSP gets mono, loses weight, fights BJ again and wins AGAIN

but on a serious note. No one can, maybe give Kenflo another chance? He looked really good tonight

I really don't see anyone doing it. Seriously.... he completely and thoroughly dominated a very tough Sanchez.

Penn will probably go down as the greatest LW champ the UFC has ever seen.

Gray Maynard should get the shot if/when he beats Nate Diaz. He has won six straight fights at lw against good fighters such as Huerta, Clementi, Edgar, and Jim Miller. He already deserves a shot, there is no debating that once he beats Diaz.

I think Gray has the best chance only due to his size and strength. Maybe he could grind out a decision against BJ.

a couple months back I was in the minority when I said I didnt really think he was ready for a title shot.

I mean....Joe Stevenson he just kept off because he is taller with a longer reach

Clay Guida....honestly, I think Guida's hair got in his eyes that whole fight because he didnt land a single shot on Diego.

I honestly didnt think Diego was not ready to step to BJ just yet. They should have gave him Maynard or Escudero. I honestly thought the Maynard/Huerta fight was a waste of time and Diego should have got that one. Diego just went in thinking he could ambush BJ like he did Joe Riggs.....but BJ's speed and power were far too much

There's really no one.

BJ is untouchable at 155.

Gray Maynard is probably next but can anyone really see him fairing any better? Perhaps he'll score a takedown or two but anyone who bets against Penn is taking huge odds.

We're witnessing the greatest lightweight of all time, and its pretty awesome.
