Yea I would have liked to seen Mir get sub of te night as well. Also, I really didn't think Belcher-Goveia should have got FOTN honors. It was exciting but very short. I thought maybe Buentello-Struve might have taken it because it was a back and fourth type fight but I can see logic in all the awards given out tonight.

The heel hook was from the Palhares fight, Demarquez finished his fight with a triangle and was awared SOTN. There were four submissions tonight, and all different ones, pretty cool.

Agreed, but honestly I'm starting to think they give some of these bonuses to the younger guys starting out to help them out. If you think about it, DaMarques got a $65,000 bonus and probably still made half of what Mir did.

I feel Struve/Buentello should have got FOTN.

That was so much fun see when the head hunter caught him in the air?? Like damm shotgun duck hunting FTW.

yea those bonuses seem a little debatable to me but oh well, it is cool to see the guys who need it make some extra cash.

Also glad Belcher got back on track after getting completely ROBBED at ufc 100

I dont think Mir should have gotten it, he had him rocked before he even put the choke in, just like KenFlo, had him rocked a bit before going for the sub.
