I've been saying this since Big John left...Herb Dean is by far the best ref in the UFC.

idk man diego was out and took alot of unanswered shots..i just hate how sometimes theyll let shit like that happen and then other times screw a guy who takes 2 shots.im surprised diego even got out of that.thats what shortens careers. diego wasnt in that fight from that moment on

Herb is probably the best referee in the game. Big John is pretty overrated. In the UFC currently I think that Herb and Yamasaki are the two best refs.

I agree, Herb was on top of the action and just waiting for the moment when Diego stopped trying to improve his position.
Superb refereeing imo.

Honestly I thought the fight was over but was glad Herb didn't stop it. I would have to agree that Herb is one of the best out there.
