Does Diego - Ken Flo 2 happen now ?
And for the people that would have picked Diego does your opinion change after watching Kenny's performance against Guida ?
I'd still pick Diego.

Deff want to see that...bad assedness for 15 minutes. With KenFlo's new training, I see him beating him at LW. ELBOWS KENNETH!

I see no reason why it shouldn't happen now. It's the next logical step for Florian if he wants to climb his way back to the top, and it's a sure fire rebound fight for Sanchez, who no doubt wants to put last night out of both his and the fans' collective memory. It's the only real test for both men at this time. We can knock them for being TUF alum and falling to Penn all we like, but the reality is that these two fighters are the clear cut number one contenders of the division. Diego is not merely hype. Florian is not a glorified can. These two really are that good, and their past performances have shown this. It's simply that Penn is that much better. I see no reason not to place two fighters vying for that number two spot against one another, and I see no reason not to do it right now. I just wonder how Diego will fair mentally... some bounce back better than ever following a severe beat down. Others are never the same. Difficult to pick a winner. Kenny has been great at taking the 'rush the other fighter' mentality and turning it on his opponents as of late.

I'd pick Diego to beat Florian regardless of his performance against Penn. Sanchez has the heart of a lion and there is no quit in him. Penn technically finished Sanchez, but by doctors stoppage. I think I was fairly accurate when I picked Penn by decision.
I also think that Sanchez could put Florian on his back instead of getting outstruck and stuffed the whole time like he did against Penn. Diego has a great top game if he can hold you down, and I think he could keep Florian down. I don't see Florian getting a submission in, Diego has never been submitted in his career and even against a grappler like Marcelo Garcia, he managed to not get submitted.
I'd pick Diego by decision if this were to happen.

Id pick Kenny to take this, I laughed when people thought Kenny was on BJ's level but Kenny is a talented fighter, Sanchez is more about his pace than he is about skilled, skill wise Kenny is the superior of the two.

If you are refering to me....as I stated a couple months back, I didnt think Diego was truly ready for the title shot. Yeah the Guida fight was amazing, but Joe Stevenson before that was lame...he just used his reach to box with a stubby arm Joe Daddy for 15 minutes. I had no idea why Joe Silva scheduled that Maynard/Huerta fight.....I seriously thought Diego should have fought either Huerta, Maynard, Diaz or Escudero before just throwing him into the lion den with BJ
Everyone was on the Diego bandwagon, and I must admit Diego is a damn good fighter....but only 2 fights in LW???
nah....Diego really needs 1 more contender before he steps to Kenflo
