franky edgar

i might catch some slack for this but i think franky is the best guy to beat penn not saying he can do it but his boxing and head movement are very close if not equal to penn and he also has good takedown def i still have to give the edge to penn but i think it will be a boxing match and both are very good

bj will beat franky easily, bj is a better boxer and if it goes to the ground bj is superior. Bj take down defence will counter franky wrestling and even if he does mange to take him down it plays right into bj strengths.

I don't think Frankie can win but I think its the best fight left for BJ, if nothing else Edgar works good angles and is accurate, he doesn't hit hard enough to be a real threat to BJ but I think it would be entertaining.

Maynard and Frankie have the best shots at beating Penn for different reasons and I have been saying this since before the KenFlo fight but they are still longshots. Frankie could possibly outpoint Penn in 3 rounds striking with his kickboxing but he isn't finishing him or taking him down. Maynard is the only guy at 155 that has the imposing wrestling to have a chance at wearing BJ down but I don't find it likely.
