It's frustrating that someone who can beat most of the division is so unconvincing and boring.

Fitch didnt even look good last night, he wasnt getting the better of the exchanges on the feet and almost got Knocked out in the third round. He def won the fight by winning the first 2 rounds but I bet his face feels alot worse today than Pierces. Not deserving of a shot IMO and would just get killed again. Throw in some new blood against GSP.

I would rather see Hardy vs GSP.
After that fight then Koscheck deserves the title shot (if he beats Paulo Thiago)
Thats the next 2 fights anyway.
After that who knows - someone like Hazlett may be on a run of wins.

Rematches have to be deserved - at the moment i dont think Fitch deserves one yet - he needs some more fights and impressive performances

I agree with this. Trouble is, Kos has to have another fight while he waits and if he loses it then hes back to square one.

I don't know...Floyd Mayweather is a great WW. Seriously though, I would definitely rank Alves and Kos up there above him and I think Kampmann and Condit could beat him but they are toss-ups.

Ok...just making sure. I am with you too in that GSP is a clear favorite, but I am usually more intrigued with match-ups that I haven't seen and could go either way (regardless of liklihood)

I would like to see KOS take out Alves. KOS doesn't cut very much weight and we all know Alves walks into the cage damn near 200. In their last fight KOS filled in as a replacement with less than two weeks notice before the fight. I think with a full trianing camp and a couple more pounds of muscle KOS could come up with a good game plan to get Alves down and control the fight.

Honestly Fitch was a big dissapointment last night. I didn't see any improvements in his game.
GSP would be a horror matchup for him right now. Seeing how shaky Fitch looked at the end, i think GSP would finnish Fitch if they would fight again.
To answer the question in this thread: no. After last night i want to see GSP - Hardy. But GSP - Kos would look better in my opinion.

.

BELIEVE!

I voted for Hardy because we already know how Fitch/GSP 2 would be. I like Fitch, he's extremely tough, but he's never been the most exciting fighter to watch.

Lord no. Fitch would beat Hardy almost as easily as GSP. Hardy has struggled and lost to guys whose wrestling was light years worse than GSP's or Fitch's. Either guy would demolish Hardy.

Pierce is a tough guy. Just because Fitch isn't GSP doesn't mean he isn't good. Until he loses to someone other than GSP he's still the #2 WW as far as I'm concerned.
