Maynard isnt gonna be able to beat Diaz, so it will probably be Frankie Edgar..who BJ will demolish as well. He has better striking, submissions, grappeling, and much more craziness, which is why he is so good. I will say BJ is smarter than both of these fighters as well.

Clearly he means Edgar and Maynard will be fighting BJ at the same time - the only way that Penn loses at LW.

Im not gonna read the entire thread but does anyone actually believe Gray Maynard can take BJ down? Keep BJ down if he could? Not get submitted?

No, No, and NO.

He wont be able to take BJ down(unless BJ lets him), wouldnt be able to keep him down(again, unless BJ lets him), and wouldnt be able to keep him down without getting submitted. (unless Penn just wants to knock him out)

I don't believe that Maynard would be able to take him down at all. And he definitely would not win the stand up. I do believe that BJ would submit him if it were to go to the ground.

I think that Edgar would fair better on the feet than Maynard would.
