Both fighters fought a smart strategic fight and didn't take chances. Tito was patient and didn't try to bumrush Chuck like Babalu cause he knew he'd get knocked out if did. Instead, he stuck to mostly punches and leg kicks to wear Chuck down for the later rounds. Chuck kept his distance and didn't flurry his punches since that risks him gassing out and getting taken down and pounded. Smart fight on both their parts, Tito's only real mistake was going for the high kicks instead of slamming Chuck with even more leg & body kicks, he looked so off balance when kicking high.

wby the hell, did that reff stop that fight there, that was one of the worst stoppages i've seen. Chuck was hitting tito's arms, even randy coutore was saying that. crazy.

Why don't you just read the whole thread before asking that question. Many people have given reasonable answers.

one person said about how chuck would keep teeing off until he landed one, thats the only reasonable one. I think it should have kept going, tito was covering up, he wasn't exactly being hit with devastating blows, so why not let it keep going? It just seemed like a bad stoppage to me.

I thought for sure it was this thread but anyways, covering up and turtling with no attempts of escaping is considered not "intelligently" defending themselves. Plus tito wasn't complaining so why should any of us.

But at first I also thought it was stopped early, me and all of my buddies were pissed (we wanted to see titos fat head smashed in), but the replay does clearly show liddel just on top throwing punches (majority doing very little damage) but stll tito wasn't attempting to escape or anything.

EDIT: My apologies CroKid the info was on a another thread check this out: http://www.mmaforum.com/ufc-discussi...-stoppage.html

Anyways my buddies and I noticed the same thing he seemed to just be very relaxed and patient, and could have ended whenever he wanted.
What else can you say, well I wouldn't say fixed, let's just say I'm looking forward to Rampage/Chuck 2
Yeah encouraged is the woprd i should've used. It looked like chuck purposly let the fight drag a bit.

Thats because mario yamosaki was the referee and he has a history of bad stoppages. In the Alves/Desouza fight john mccarthy was the ref and when desouza was getting the shit punched out of him he let the fight go on.

Chuck was hitting tito's arm and it looked to me that Tito tried to change position but at that second mario stopped it.

fixed, hell no

but it did look like chuck was giving him chance, it was weird.

between always stepping back and letting him up to giving him thumbs up between rounds.

great sportsman ship from chuck IMHO
