I understand he has worked his ass off and fighting is his life but this guy does not have it bad at all. What about people who goto school for years, get a job, and have there whole future in a job including retirement and the business goes under, and possibly they have kids to feed. I would have to say that that is worse then a guy losing a fight, when he will undoubtedly fight again.

If you got fired from your job you worked incredibly hard to get, then you ran into the corner of your boss's office and started crying like a baby (and I mean like a baby, with mouth open and all) would you be pissed if people made fun of you? Hell, after something like that you have it coming. It is not acceptable.

And you say I know everyone on here are hardcore and never cry, if he just stood there, did the interview and cried no one would have a problem. But this guy acted like a little kid who just got his first shot.

Even if my own brother was in the exact same situation as Forrest and did that I would laugh, a lot. And I would definitely give him shit for it, and I am sure he would realize he would have it coming.

Forrest has so much going for him, it was simply unacceptable. Call me a loser, asshole, whatever, but he deserves the little indirect bashing he is getting.
That's quite an excellent post, my friend

I agree it was a good post but don't forget that Griffin's head probably wasn't on straight after those vicious hits to the temple. He may not have been aware that he was even crying or cussing or running at all. It's not like they gave him very much time to recover. Forrest doesn't get TKOed to often...no telling what his mind was going through at the time with all those people staring at him and shit. He probably felt like he was dreaming....

There's a big difference between the way you act after getting fired and the way you act after your brain just got rocked like a motherf*cker.

Well, I suppose so, I'm working from the assumption that he was fine at the time he started acting the way he did. He seemed OK otherwise, he just seemed really, really upset at himself. I'd bet the bank he'll NEVER react that way again, I think he's probably embarrassed right now

Giving Sh** to Forrest just makes you look stupid.

Seriously, some of you come off as little kids who have never experienced anything in life other than daddy yelling at you because you didn't cut the yard.

UFC fan757 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Good Evening Everyone!

I think everyone is probably tired of reading the same post over an over again, so I will try to make this won a lil different.

Forrest Griffin has definitely gained a huge amount of popularity and has obviously became a poster boy for the UFC. One thing that's always consistent about him is he always tries to impress/put on a show for us! Every post-fight interview in the past he expresses his concern for whether or not we were entertained. He is a great entertainer and overall fighter and I think there aren't very many fighters, like Forrest, that give a crap what WE thought about their performance. He has always been very emotional and the sensitive type, look at the old TUF dvds! Nothing he did made him a lesser person/less professional it just made him look more real/human. UFC is his life and it takes alot to be Forrest Griffin. Look at the reactions as a symbol of the old Forrest dying and being transformed into a new Forrest!

This might sound a little repetetive but,

Dude, I understand being upset and the pressure but on being a poster-boy, but I'm glad he lost by TKO by and upset. I'm glad it broke him down. He needed to be humbled. When everyone starts saying youre the shit and you start believing it, you need a reality check. Props to Griffin. He works hard. Sux he lost so f***ing badly and all that work went down the drain in less than 5 minutes. But he shouldn't have cried in public. He was humiliated, made it worse for himself, now everyoine's got jokes on him. next guy who wants to get in his head can, and he made himself look ridiculous. Lesson learned. Let's see if he can pick his own ass up off the floor and make a comeback to shock the UFC world.
