Former lightweight champion Sean Sherk has suffered an injury and will not fight on the Jan. 2 UFC 108 card, The Times learned Thursday from sources close to Sherk's camp.
Sherk reportedly was scheduled to fight Jim Miller, though the bout had not yet officially been announced by the organization.
At this point, I more or less want 108 to be over and done with. It's becoming a bit of an abomination... not content wise, but in respect to the ridiculously vast and continuously growing list of fighters whom have pulled out of this card. Were I a superstitious man, I'd seriously have to ponder the possibility of a hex.
