A lot of people have been saying that Sylvia is going to get his ass kicked by Mirko Cro Cop! But there is a possiblility that he would beat Mirko Cro Cop! If he was albe to ko Cro Cop, what would it do for his career?

Probably would help but most new MMA fans don't know who Mirko is so maybe it wouldn't help that much. It would probably just really hurt Mirko. But if Sylvia won it would shut so many people on this forum up. That would be my favorite part of a Sylvia victory.

i watched mirko fight in K1 in 2004 and he had his butt handed to him then.....the guy has improved outta sight since then. Noone is unbeatable..even fedor and cro cop...anything is possible for tim on a good day.

Tim Sylvia is a large guy and he's a strong puncher. But CroCop is an absolute beast. I wouldn't hold my breath for a win by Sylvia. I think Tim's gonna be in shock when he gets rocked hard by leg kicks.

i want vera to beat sylvia, he's a boring champion and thats why he doesnt headline ppv's every fight he's in

vera on the other hand is much more exciting to watch compared to sylvia's performances, vera finishes ppl, sylvia doesnt do that every single fight but im not sayin he couldnt ko vera either

edit....jus realized you were talking bout cro cop...if forgot about that, well then uh...vera should be next to fight him, beat him, then the winner of sylvia/cro cop goes on to face vera...just an idea

If he beats Cro Cop I will never talk shit about him again. I mean, NEVER. Of course that will never happen. The only reason Sylvia beat Monson was because Monson is so short, thats it. His days have been numbered for a while now. Hell if Vera re-signs he will beat Tim.

With all due respect, you have no idea what you are talking about. The top heavyweights in MMA are Fedor (#1) and Cro Cop (#2). Sylvia is a distant third, though I still scratch my head and wonder how he beat Arlovski 2 out of 3. Cro Cop would make mince meat out of Sylvia. Tim lacks a killer instinct, while Cro Cop would be all over the "Maniac" from the start of the opening bell.

Tim's days are numbered. Dana White can't wait to see him boring ass get beaten down and the UFC crown go to an exciting fighter. His last match was a disgrace.

Pride and UFC are completely different fighting arenas with different requirements. Silvia does have some take down and submissions. I just watched the Fedor/Cro Cop fight on Youtube and it looked like K1 on steroids (maybe was, considering no testing policy). Very few take down and a LOT of wild KO type punches. If Silvia can turtle up, limit the number of thigh shots he takes and uses his reach and ground work, he has a chance.

Silvia is a gangly, ugly fighter, who fights to his strengths.
People may hate that, but you better respect it. He avenged his loss to AA and I have not seen anyone else beat him in a while.

HUNT would kill both Sylvia AND Cro cop in the ring at the same time ... Sylvia and Crocop are still in the little league, give them a few more years and they might be allowed to mix it with the big boys ... HUNT, FEDOR etc ...
