Thats what I think. But u never know shogun might come back even better then he was in there first match and im talkin about more devastating kicks then the first fight. Had me except the Franklin beating Cote' I have never been a Cote' guy, toxic seriously has taught me to respect his skills...They're there.....but I def see Ace on the decline.....

Cote will beat Franklin, alot of people underestimate Cote's skills, the guy was always a very dangerous striker his biggest problem in his ealry UFC fights was he would lose his composure and get into a battle of wills just throwing bombs instead of taking his time and throwing accurate strikes. Since he has been training with Mark Delegrotte at Sitydong Cote has become a much more relaxed fighter who choses his shots instead of attacking full bore hoping to catch a flush shot, the fact that he has landed well above the UFC average (when he fought Silva it was given as a statistic at 60 something percent which puts him near BJ's level of accuracy), when you really consider he was much more of a brawler in his early career it makes that number that much more impressive. Cote is every bit as good a striker as Frankling but he hits harder and has a better chin. On the ground despite what everyone thinks due to the Lutter fight Cote is a BJJ purple belt who not only survived a ground battle with Jason MacDonald but managed to catch J-Mac in a rear naked choke for the submission, no easy task. Cote is every bit as competent as Franklin on the ground. We have seen Cote knock off Drew McFedries, Ricardo Almedia and go 2 rounds with Anderson Silva on a bum knee, if Cote shows up in shape and ready do go he should walk through Franklin and reestablish himself at the top of the 185 pack.
