I really don't have an argument for Faber. He lost by being too flashy to Mike Brown, and then broke both hands the next fight.

kenny florian has the best chance, if he can get his game together a little more, hes pretty much a mirror of bj, he's one of the only fighters i believe when he said he did not fight the way he wanted to again bj, he was nervous and all that. sherk would just get destroyed again, so would anyone who was a bully style of fighting like him and diego, bj is too good for that bull, you gotta really have hands if you wanna stand with him. and sherk's t rex arms just aren't going to cut it.

Honestly, no one in the UFC LW division has much of a chance to beat BJ right now. I would love to see some of Japan's LWs brought into the UFC.

They can beat him off, but they can't beat him

I agree with one of the earlier post regarding rebounding from a major loss to GSP. Fighters are given a reality check. i am impressed how BJ took the high road and actually tries to improve himself. A lot of champs seem to decline once someone ruffles their feathers.

With BJ's talent and improved training, I really don't see anyone in the LW division as a threat. The fighters that come from the Ultimate Fighter are good, but are definitely of a lesser caliber.

Not saying he'd win, but he'd give B.J. something to think about. Never count Nick out of any fight.
I dont think Diaz can make 155. Im pretty sure when he fought KJ Noons in EliteXC they had it at 160 because of Diaz not being able to cut below that. I remember seeing somewhere that Noons said they made the belt at 160lbs because they were planning on pushing Diaz as one of there big stars. I could be way off though.

No you're right.. that's absolutly correct. 155 is a rough cut for Nick. He's made it a couple of times.

Pretty sure he fought Gomi at 155.

I was thinking about this too.
I'm pretty sure the Gomi fight was at 160 lbs. This was Pride's LW limit.

Nick fought at 180lbs twice already. I don't think he could make the cut to 155 right now especially since he has been bulking up a bit lately.

This is unfortunate because I really think that Nick could beat Penn but I just can't see it happening since he can't make the cut and he seems to be contempt with staying at Strikeforce.

Florian has the best chance to beat Penn imo.
My second pick might sound surpising, but i would pick Roger Huerta: the guy is as tough as they come. He had a great fight against Maynard, considering he didn't fight almost 1 year. If he would commit himself to a more rigurous program he could become a great.

.

A real good boxer with that cant be taken down and submitted.

Tyson Griffin and Frankie Edgar are the only ones I can think of. But Penn is still too good of a striker for either fighter.

Noone can outpoint him striking, and noone can take him down. His chin is rock solid. GSP is his kryptonite, but there is no GSP at 155. And if there was, BJ would prolly beat the smaller GSP.

1.Shogun
2.BJ
3.Fedor
4.Kos
5.GSP
