I wouldn't say the UFC is getting softer, I would say that the fighters are a little stronger. I feel that the NSAC would much rather be safe than sorry. If that requires ending an obviously one sided match a little early then so be it. I don't agree with many stoppages but the Tito stoppage was right. The guy was a punching bag since the first round. Yeah he got a couple of lucky shots but he was done, especially when Chuck got him down. Plus when you are a ref, all you are going to see is one guy curled up, and then on the other end a highly trained fighting machine throwing 3-4 blows per second, I highly doubt the ref will just stand there and let that go on. Good Stoppages and the UFC is not softer... But they should get rid of Herb Dean, too many mistakes.

If anything, this is the opposite of WWE. I don't see anybody getting punched 20 times in a UFC fight before jumping up waving their finger in the air like they're OK.

Tito was on the ground not making any effor tto try and stand, just because he couldn't get up in the position that he was it DOESN'T mean that the ref stopped it to early. Lets say the fight went on for 1 more min, theres no way Tito was getting out of the position that he was in, so that means Chuck could have done a lot of damage, in which the ref would have stopped.

Just like Shamrock and Tito, although Shamrock stood up right away after doesn't mean that the fight was stopped to early, Tito was man handling Ken, and it should have never even took place.

Just like this fight, Tito isn't good enough to have another title shot, IMO he shouldn't have even had that one.

For most of you, ignorance is bliss, but for me it's about the truth.

The only reff who I think has early stops is Herb Dean. He doesn't give the fighters much of a chance. BJM has always been a good reff and I think Mario did a good job with Tito. Herb Dean deff. would have stopped it in the first round. He gave Tito plenty of chances and Tito did nothing with them. I think the UFC has good stops. If you were a reff would you rather have people critisize you for an early stop or would you rather take the blame for a death or serious injury?
