I remember a few months ago, right after Affliction died and was allowed to promote their shirts with the UFC again, when they also banned One More Round I believe, that there was an article posted here that said the UFC asks 100 000$ per fighter promoted by the brand. Or something along those lines. Wasn't it during that period that they banned Clinch gear?? I think I remember it happening before Dan left.

Get a job selling cars at GM. Then on your first day show up in a Honda wearing a Honda Shirt. See how long you last. Dana has the ABSOLUTE RIGHT IDEA.

I wouldn't let ANY COMPANY get displayed on my product unless I have ok'd it and gotten paid. I don't give a shit if they talked to the fighter. The fighter is not paying the bills or in charge of PR.

What are you talking about? You don't think Clinch Gear was paying the UFC like all the other sponsors?

Again, Dan Henderson is in direct competition with the UFC. There is no business sense in allowing Dan Henderson to promote his products on a UFC show! As a business owner this makes 100% sense to me and I just dont understand why it is even questioned?

When my customers call me I dont say "Hey have you heard about my competator, he is now making a differant type of widget!"
