I agree that it looked desperate but I also agree there was nothing wrong with it. I damn sure thought AA was going to get submitted while they were on the ground and remember that vicious (IMO) elbow to the back of the head AA gave Cruz?? I am a big AA fan, love to watch him fight and props to him for having his head in the game because there was nothing illegal about the knock out blow.

Nothing wrong with what Arlovski did. The punch was completely legal. Now grow your hair out some more and bring back full-on wolf action!

The kick on the ground was illegal but Cruz wanted to stay on the ground after it and so the ref let them. AA did nothing wrong with the punch it was way after the restart

AA did nothing wrong. Herb said go so he went. I thought it was badass, I've never seen anyone get punched so hard from that position.

All's I have to say is Cruz picked the wrong guy to grapple with and leave his guard down. My Girl Friend is from Brazil and she was like, "I don't like that fight, it wasn't fair". I was like, "cause your dude got blasted"!

She also tried to say, "it wasn't fair because Marcio doesn't speak english and that he didn't understand the ref". I first said, so his fault, then I said, "Andrei is from Russia and has bad English". Although I am sure they both fully understood the ref when he told them to fight again.
