**Possible Spoilers** - Should all UFC Main Events be 5 rounders?
Not including Fight Nights, do you think each main event should be more than 3 rounds? I'm sick of seeing great headlining fights cut short because theyre not title fights. Its too tempting for fighters to go for a decision win, and usually the main event is between title contenders, which in my opinion, these fights should be given every opportunity to be finished decisively. What are your thoughts?

No, 5 rounds give title fights more credibility and should not be a standard for every main event.
Title fights deserve to be superior then simple main events. |
I absolutely think all main events should be 5 rounds. Title fights already have the credibility of being TITLE fights. They don't need to be the only fights to go 5 rounds.
The fewer fights going to the judges the better. |

5 rounders are only for title fights.
Why the hell would I want to see 2 more rounds of that crap from tonight. |
4 rounds would be good..

no. it makes title fights a little more special. Also allot of fighters wouldnt be ready to go 5. I mean i wouldnt want to see more of evans vs silva they both seemed real gassed and there wouldnt have been much more to see. 5 rounds should only be for the elite.

Im split on this. One part of me thinks that only title fights should be 5 rounds but, to me, the "interm title" is just a BS excuse to make a non title fight a 5 round fight. So i think there has to be some way to make more non title fights 5 rounds without making all fights 5 rounds. Maybe all #1 contender fights 5 rounds or something. Just a thought.

It was up to Thiago to finish in 3 rounds. The prob is scoring the takedown at all - what exactly did Rashad do to Thiago? Hurt him? Hold him down? Thiago was on his back a few times, and thats a win :(
