UFC 108 Bonuses

Quote:

Fight of the Night — Sam Stout and Joe Lauzon
Submission of the Night — Cole Miller
Knockout of the Night — Paul Daley
Each fighter received a $50K bonus.

As short as it was FOTN for me was Miller/Lauzon.

Daley shouldnt have gotten the bonus for not making weight (AJ @ 106 anyone?)

All well deserved imo (if it wasn't for the weight issue of Daley, I agree)

Really good fights tonight.

H-Deep 01-03-2010 07:05 AM

Didnt rumble not get a bonus for not making weight against Yoshida?

Xerxes 01-03-2010 07:26 AM

Yep, he didnt for that same reason.

BrianRClover 01-03-2010 08:29 AM

Does anyone know, do they fine his bonus the same amount as his purse... the 20% or whatever it is?

It's 10% and I'd say no, but I'm not sure :dunno:

TraMaI 01-03-2010 09:16 AM

they should

Plenty of great KOs without having to give it to Daley. Why not always come in over weight against an already-small opponent, the 25k will more than make up for your 10% docked pay.

JDS should have gotten it, after taunting Gilbert twice than knocking him out in two minutes... :praise01:

Wookie 01-03-2010 04:17 PM

Yeah Junior should've got the bonus based on the fact Daley didn't make weight. Other than that I agree with all of them except that one.

Terror Kovenant 01-03-2010 04:36 PM

Thats crap. Daley doesn't deserve that bonus. JDS should have earned it
