IMO Rampage would handle Rashad pretty easily. Rashad doesn't compare in his striking with Rampage and he wouldn't be able to man handle Rampage using his wrestling. I would predict Rampage KOing Rashad. Thats all I was saying. This is a forum, I was just giving my opinion.

So Rashad's been rocked in his last two fights? Rampage got rocked in his last fight too. In fact, Rampage needed to get his jaw checked after that fight with Jardine, didn't he?
Rampage got tagged hard but from what I remember he was never close to being finished.

And a history of KO wins don't mean shit. Thiago has a history of KO wins and look what happened to him.
Did you just compare Thiago Silva and Rampage Jacksons history? Thats just silly tbh. Silva has a history of TKO wins mostly be GnP, the exception being Jardine, that KO was awesome.

This delusion about Evans having a chance is just getting silly. We all know you have a man crush on him, so just keep living in fantasy land until May or June. Don't say we told you so.
Err, no Evans didn't want to get over aggressive incase he got caught with a sub, that's why it went to decision. It's called tactics.

And we shall see about Evans and Rampage. We shall see. You think Rampage is going to beat Evans based on the Thiago Silva fight - which Evans won - then it is you who is deluded.

Based on the power Rampage possess, The lack of engaging by Rashad and the lack of chin that he also doesnt have.

lol@ everybody downplaying Rashad's performance.

Exactly. I think the fact that people keep talking about Thiago landing a couple of hard shots in a 15 mins fight says more about Rashad as a dominant fighter than anything.

Lack of chin!??! Have you seen Rashad vs Brad Imes? Rashad vs Sam Hoger?? The former fight had Rashad, a guy who MIGHT be able to get to middleweight if he legs shrunk, vs a 6,6 guy who had to cut to get to the 265lbs limit. Now, Brad Imes isn't the best heavyweight out there, but to say he had a significant size advantage would be the ultimate understatement. If you watch the fight you'll see an exchange where the 265lbs Imes clinched and KNEE'd Evans in the face a few times - and guess what? Evans still stood tall and went onto win the fight.

The latter fight had Hoger throw a very hard right leg kick to Rashad's temple. Rashad got rocked, but stood tall.

As for the Machida fight. Well Machida is deceptively very powerful and even he had to use like 20 hard lefts and rights to finish Rashad. So please tell where you got this idea that he doesn't have a chin, please. Was it last night's fight? A fight in which he WON?? For you to say that Rashad has no chin is to suggest that Thiago has no KO power, which, of course he does. Thiago has VERY heavy hands incase you didn't realise and Rashad still survived him.

He was afraid to engage on the feet with Silva, he only engaged to look for TDs, but Rampage has more KO power than Silva imo. Add to that the fact he would not be able to control Rampage with his wrestling like he did to Silva. Im pretty confident in saying Rampage would KO Rashad within two rounds.
This is going to sound sarcastic when read, and maybe even like an insult, but it honestly is not.

You guys may be the best fans I have ever seen. Rampage turned his back on MMA and all MMA fans, and his own fans... this all after giving them the preverbial middle finger and you still support him. All of this to do a BS remake TV show movie that will no doubt bomb something fearce. You can talk money, and opportunity all you want, but ultimately this MIXED MARTIAL ARTS, the keywords there being Martial Arts, which in every since of the word should start with honor. Rampage has been nothing less than dishonorable this year.

Having said all that, Rampage is a douchebag to the greatest extreme IMO, but you guys are honestly great fans! No joke.

I just hope Rampage shows up ready to fight, and to be honest I cant say he will for sure. I've never been that impressed with Rashad he is quick but I just havent seen him do anything to impress me and I dont want to see Rampage give him any credability. I do think its foolish to say Rampage will destroy Rashad, because I have no idea how this layoff will effect Page or if he even wants to fight. I kinda wish they would give him one fight here quick to see where his head is at.

I see where your coming from but I didn't post in this thread through some nut huggery of Rampage.

I was just giving my opinion on an upcoming fight.

Interesting, just read that Rashad recently received his BJJ black belt from Rolles Gracie. Want to talk about well rounded.
