This is the truth. He was held up after the new security checks coming into the country after that guy tried to blow up a plane recently. He has always made weight before. It was a shame the commission wouldn't let him cut just one more pound.

Not only was there a plane delay, but the commission doctor didn't allow him the standard 1 hr to lose the last pound, due to health concerns. The doctor may well have made the right call, but this is hardly the usual missed weight scenario.

Just compare him with guys like Lutter, Alves and Rumble:
-Lutter failed to make weight in a freakin title match against Silva after winning the comeback show of TUF.
-Alves Tested positive for banned diuretics that he apparently used to help cutting water weight more easily, then couple years later failed to make weight.
-Rumble missed weight by 5 pounds. I can't remember anyone in ufc missing it by that much before (Filho missed it by 7 pounds in WEC though)
I think he (Rumble) missed weight another time by 7 pounds back in UFC 76. Or whas it 6 pounds? Can't remeber.

Btw, Daley had a good reason to miss weight, and it was only one pound. I don't think its that bad.
